Conditions of Trading
PAYMENT TERMS
Dealer terms are strictly Cash, Deposit, EFT, Credit
Card or Company Cheque. Identification is required when
using cheque as a form of payment. A 1% surcharge will
apply to VISA, Mastercard transactions. A 4% surcharge
applies to American Express transactions. This rate
is subject to change from time to time and without prior
notice.
Banking Details:
Our Bank A/C details are as follows: Direct Deposit
of funds is an acceptable form of payment. A confirmation
of the transaction must be faxed or emailed prior to
the goods being picked up or sent.

Dishonored Cheques:
If a cheque is returned to us dishonored, it will attract
a $9.00 dishonored fee as well as a $15.00 Admin fee.
PRICES:
All prices as quoted, on our pricelist and on our website
are subject to change without notice. Compuworld reserves
the right at any time to modify any incorrect prices
which may have been incorrectly published. All prices
are subject to stock availability.
Freight and Shipping:
Freight charges are the sole responsibility of the
customer. It is the customer responsibility to arrange
transport if required.
Compuworld can organise freight arrangement on behalf
of the customer, freight charge applies and will be
stated on the invoice. However all freight arranangement
are organised on the customer's behalf and Compuworld
will accept no responsibility for goods that are lost
or damaged during transit.
Return and Credit of goods for technical reasons:
There is no charge for products to be repaired provided
they are under the original warranty period. Products
no longer covered by warranty may also be returned for
repair, however the customer will be charged for this
service.
Goods being returned must be accompanied by the original
invoice as well as a detailed fault description. A Return
Authorisation (RA) number must be obtained prior to
returning the goods to Compuworld. Goods will only
be replaced after our technical staff has determined
that the goods are faulty and cannot be repaired.
Refunds cannot be given on returned products. Credit
notes will be issued in these circumstances. Items
returned with no fault found will attract a 15% re-stocking
fee. Goods that are opened may not be returned unless
approved otherwise.
NB: Damage caused by operation outside of designed
working and storage environments, physical damage, power
surges, fluctuations and interference, viruses and external
peripheral devices are not covered under warranty.
Software, CPU and RAM: All software, CPU’s and RAM
are sold on a no-return basis.
Return of DEAD ON ARRIVAL (DOA) PRODUCTS
Should you receive any product, which is not operating
on arrival, please notify Compuworld as soon as possible
and obtain a RA number. Once a RA number has been issued
the goods can be returned to Compuworld. The goods MUST
be accompanied by the RA number issued and a copy of
the original invoice. DOA goods must be returned under
the original purchase condition with all manuals, software
and accessories. In these instances, the goods will
be replaced brand new if returned within 7 days of the
invoice date.
We will endeavour to repair or replace the products
within 14 days of receving the goods (although exceptions
may occur from time to time due to stock availability).
If a product is found not be faulty, you will be charged
a service fee of $27.50 and all freight costs. This
account must be settled before goods can be returned.
